don't know what it is, vacuum hose?, but it always comes off and is pretty much impossible to get back on. Hose left of the green alternator plug and a barely visible blue connector down there is what we are looking at. Doesn't seem to effect the car. 03 WRX. This is to the left of the alternator looking straight in.

it's part of the evap emission system. Have you thrown a p0457 code yet? Just zip tie it, and that's it.

nope. No codes at all. Biggest issue is that the hose is firm and in a tight spot. I can take a few things off and get to it better but it's too late for that today. Thanks for the info!

no prob! It happens to a lot. I believe it's a t- hose, I've zipped tied mine before, it's kind of a pain, but will prevent it in the future from coming off lol

I think I have some of that hose around so hopefully a bit longer and a zip tie will work great!

wait, this is what throws that code? My GFs 05 forester has that code and I have been too lazy/cold to track it down. Just a zip tie might fix it?

If that tee fitting is undone, then yes. That's the cheapest way to see, then it's the gas cap. Wost case it's the charcoal canister in the rear.
